The Western Convert flute, known as the C flute
is the most common type of flute.
It is made of metals such as gold, silver, nickel, copper and zinc!
Its sound is ranfged from a high pitch whistle to a low pitch growl.
The many keys on the flute and the way that you blow
on the mouth piece can vary the sound.
It is sometimes resounding, smooth, loud, jumpy or relaxing
depending on the notes and when you blow.
Its pitches are: from middle C to the C 3 octaves higher.
Finding a flute for the first time will include factors such as

Blow the flute like a whistle. Your first finger will be placed on the second,
small key on the front. You will skip the next key,
then place your second and third fingers on the next two keys.
Your pinky finger will go on the lever that extends out from the body.
Your right-hand thumb is used to support the flute.
Your first, second and third fingers will be placed on the last three keys before the footjoint.
Your right-hand pinky finger will rest on the semi-circle key at the top of the footjoint.

HISTORY
It is one of the oldest wind instruments and one of the most widespread instruments in the world. At first, flutes were flown in from Asia to Europe but only Germany and France used it. Later on, Europe started using flutes for military purposes like signaling, this revived the use of flutes in Europe. Flutes then became common in court, theatre, opera, chamber ensembles and ballet. Flutes were mostly made of wood before the early 20th century and after the 20th century, mostly made of silver.
